Fundgrain is a portfolio management software platform designed for venture capital fund managers. The Service includes tools for tracking investments, managing LP relationships, monitoring portfolio company KPIs, generating reports, and AI-powered analysis through the AI Advisor feature.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
The Service is intended for professional use by investment professionals and their authorized team members.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
Fundgrain offers a 30-day free trial. A valid credit card is required to start the trial; you will not be charged until the trial period ends. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at the then-current pricing.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain full ownership of all data you input into Fundgrain, including portfolio company information, LP data, and fund performance data ("Your Data").
By using the Service, you grant Fundgrain a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not sell, license, or share Your Data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy and as necessary to operate the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you input into the Service — including data about third parties such as LPs and portfolio company founders — complies with applicable privacy laws and that you have obtained any necessary consents.
The AI Advisor feature uses Anthropic's Claude API to analyze your portfolio data and generate insights. By using AI features, you acknowledge that:
The Service, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by Fundgrain and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written permission.
You retain all intellectual property rights in Your Data.
You acknowledge that Your Data may contain highly sensitive financial and business information. We treat Your Data as confidential and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it. Our team members who access your data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.
Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNDGRAIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fundgrain and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by canceling your subscription and deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for data export, after which it will be deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
